How to care for your colored hair: Wait 24-72hrs before shampooing after color service: * Ideally you can wash your hair whenever you want. Just keep in mind the longer you wait to shampoo your hair after a color service - the more time the color pigment will have to soak into the hair cuticle. How often should I wash and what shampoo is best for my colored hair? * Preferably wash your hair every other day with sulfate-free products using lukewarm/cool water for color longevity. Washing your hair everyday can result in dry/dull hair but everyone’s hair is different, do what works for you. How to take care of your hair in-between washes: * Color-safe dry shampoo is a great way to keep your hair fresh and go a little longer between washes. * When styling try to avoid using too much oil/serums. * Try to minimize hot tool usage and always use heat protectant sprays work best for styling. Hair Treatments or Deep Conditioning. * Give your hair a reset once a week with a clarifying shampoo to remove excess buildup. * Use a hair mask or deep conditioning treatment once a week/every other week up to you to maintain hair color and integrity. •Lastly don’t forget to be consistent with hair trims and maintain a fresh look by cutting off those dead ends every 6-8weeks. Dry dead ends won’t hold color and will contribute to hair looking faded and dull.
